The Abydos pyramid was a monument located on Abydos, used as a landing path for Ra's mothership. It has been destroyed by Anubis in 2002.

Overview[edit | edit source]

This monument has a pyramidal shape like Egypt Great Pyramids. The design allows Goa'ud ships like Ra's mothership to land directly on it. Inside is the Stargate room. The pyramid can also be accessed by transportation rings (Stargate).

History[edit | edit source]

Evolution[edit | edit source]

Stargate (1995)[edit | edit source]

When the Project Giza finds out the way to call another planet thanks to Doctor Daniel Jackson, the team sends a probe and a mission team through the Stargate. They arrive inside a pyramid.

Later, when a huge sandstorm rises up, the base camp moves from outside to the pyramid. Soon after, a pyramidal ship lands and docks on the pyramid.
