Yaphetta flour is a food substance grinded and used by Abydonians.

Overview[edit | edit source]

This seed found on Abydos is used to make meal. To use it, the Abydonians have to grind it to transform it in flour (SG1: "Children of the Gods").

History[edit | edit source]

"Children of the Gods" (1997)[edit | edit source]

After their return from Abydos, Jack O'Neill brings Daniel Jackson in his home in the hope to change his mind. There, they talk about Jackson's life on Abydos. He tells O'Neill that if Sha're wasn't here, he might have lost his mind and, giving the example of yaphetta flour, tells that she laughed every time Jackson was trying to do a common task. He asks O'Neill if he has ever ground his own flour. Sarcastically, O'Neill replies that he's "trying to kick the flour thing."
